Two cats! They are chaos wrapped in fur. They sit on my yoga mat, knock things off the counter, and somehow make my apartment feel like home instead of just a place I sleep. They show up in my diary a lot because they show up in my life a lot.
A few times a week. I write when something sticks with me — a moment, a feeling, something one of my cats did. It's not on a strict schedule because that would make it feel like homework.
I write my diary in English, but Spanish is my first language. You'll see Spanish words and expressions mixed in — that's just how I think. Some things only make sense in Spanish, so I leave them that way.
